Testosterone is THE male hormone. It’s what made us become men in the womb. It’s a bio-identical hormone. bio-identical is a hormone that we produce naturally and that is recognized and accepted by our body. For example, testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, insulin, and HGH are all bio-identical hormones, as we already have them and produce them naturally.
Once this exogenous hormone is in your system, your body knows exactly what to do with it. It’s also non-toxic, so people can use it for a long time with minimal health implications.
Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), also known as androgen replacement therapy, is a medical treatment used to address low testosterone levels. This therapy is particularly beneficial for men experiencing age-related declines or conditions affecting testosterone production. Both medical and non-medical applications of androgen replacement therapy are growing trends, but it is crucial to consult healthcare providers to understand the potential benefits and risks associated with the treatment.
What is Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)?
Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) is a medical treatment designed to help men with low testosterone levels, also known as hypogonadism. The goal of TRT is to restore normal testosterone levels, alleviating symptoms such as low libido, fatigue, and decreased muscle mass. TRT involves administering therapeutic doses of testosterone, which can be delivered through various methods, including injections, gels, patches, and oral tablets. By restoring normal testosterone levels, TRT can help improve overall health and quality of life for men with hypogonadism.
Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) Considerations
Testosterone cypionate is often used as part of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) to treat low testosterone levels associated with male hypogonadism. TRT should only be used under the guidance of a licensed physician and with regular monitoring of testosterone levels and other health markers.
Is TRT a Steroid?
A steroid is a hormone based off of the cholesterol molecule, so Yes, testosterone is a type of anabolic steroid hormone produced by the male body. Another steroid is estrogen, progesterone (female hormones), and also vitamin D.
Who is a Candidate for TRT?
Men with symptomatic hypogonadism, characterized by low testosterone levels and symptoms such as low libido, fatigue, and decreased muscle mass, may be candidates for TRT. Additionally, men with a medical condition that affects testosterone production, such as hypogonadism or pituitary gland disorders, may also benefit from TRT. A healthcare provider will evaluate individual cases to determine if TRT is a suitable treatment option.
Monitoring and Adjusting Testosterone Levels
Regular monitoring of testosterone levels and other health markers is necessary to ensure the safe and effective use of testosterone cypionate. Obstructive sleep apnea is a potential comorbidity that should be considered when evaluating a patient for TRT. The dosage of testosterone cypionate may need to be adjusted based on individual response and health markers. Regular blood work and physical exams are necessary to monitor for potential side effects and adjust treatment as needed.
There are many Esters to testosterone, whether short-acting or long-acting half-life. Half-life definition
We have :
•Testosterone Enanthate
Testosterone Propionate
•Testosterone Cypionate
•Sustanon
•Testosterone Suspension (I won’t be discussing this as I have never used it)

TESTOSTERONE ENANTHATE
Testosterone enanthate is the typical one everyone goes for. It’s in the system for a few weeks and is usually injected weekly twice per week. Usually, every 3-4 days, blood levels will be kept at a peak and stabilized. It peaks for around 5 days and then declines.
The human body is incredibly sensitive to androgens. Which means you can expect rapid growth during your first cycle. In my personal experience – it’s exactly like hitting puberty again. You just glance at weights and you get stronger Unfortunately, this doesn’t last forever. This only really lasts for 3-4 months at the absolute maximum. Additionally, with androgens and the androgen receptor the more androgens used aka steroids, the more androgen receptors are made to accommodate the steroids.
People say that testosterone is more of a ‘bulking’ compound, but, to be honest it can be used at high dosages for cutting or bulking. Back In the golden era, testosterone was known as, the ‘dirty steroid’ as they didn’t have many aromatase inhibitors (estrogen blockers) only really nolvadex which is a SERM (Selective estrogen receptor modulator). It only blocks estrogen at the nipple to prevent gynecomastia. They used Deca as their main injectable.
Testosterone doesn’t have that ‘freaky’ look or unnatural steroid look, to be honest, unless it’s at a high dosage. Solo test cycles? Can be good, but usually people add in something else to really give off that impressive look. A COSMETIC effect.
Usually, it makes you feel more YOU, more masculine and assertive, and willing to protect your rights more. More courage in your conviction. That’s why there’s such a conspiracy wanting to weaken men with estrogen In the water and plastic bottles.
These all affect our testosterone negatively. NOT ME! I control my hormones. In my personal experience, it is one of the most potent antidepressants that can’t be prescribed conventionally through Western medicine. The anabolic effects of testosterone, similar to anabolic steroids, promote muscle growth and enhance overall well-being.
However, in Thailand and many other countries, it’s easily available. OTC (over-the-counter) testosterone in the pharmacies here. I like Bayer and also Rotex. Both are pharmaceutical-grade testosterone. I won’t do a separate section on testosterone cypionate as the differences between each are so negligible. Androgenic steroids, including various testosterone derivatives, are widely accessible and used for both therapeutic and performance-enhancing purposes.

Sustanon
This is my favorite testosterone. It has a blend of four esters—two fast-acting and two slow-acting. I can feel it within a couple of hours, which is a great pre-workout. Although this depends on the dosage, it can still be injected only two times per week. I’ve seen better results and also felt better about it. I have used Aspen Sustanon Pharmaceuticals, which was really good in my experience.

PROPIONATE
This fast-acting ester usually gets administered either every day or EOD (every other day) due to it being fully out of the system within 48 hours. There are benefits and negatives to this.
The benefits are that it kicks in quickly and also propionate has letter water retention than other esters. Giving a more aesthetic look than other testosterone esters. This is why also more aesthetic guys tend to prefer prop over the rest. Usually, it’s either 50mg or 100mg per ml or CC. Around 700mg test prop is equivalent to 1000mg test e since there is less water weight the the propionate.
I have used TESTOLIC test prop 50mg/ml pharmaceutical grade. It was good don’t get me wrong. Awesome workouts, felt it kick in quick and also like Sustanon great pre-workout feels like you just had an espresso, really switched me ON mentally. but the fact I had to administer every day or at least EOD meant I had to pick more injection sites. I usually just do the right hip and left hip as I usually only Inject twice per week but with this, I had to use hip flexor, side hip, and then rear glutes on both sides.
Understanding Testosterone
Testosterone is a powerhouse hormone that plays a pivotal role in shaping what it means to be male. It’s the driving force behind the development of male reproductive tissues, bone density, and muscle mass. Think of it as the architect of secondary sexual characteristics like facial hair, a deep voice, and body hair. Testosterone levels hit their peak during those wild teenage years and early adulthood, but they can take a nosedive as you age. This decline can bring about unwelcome symptoms like low libido, fatigue, and a noticeable drop in muscle mass. Keeping an eye on your testosterone levels is crucial for maintaining that youthful vigor and vitality.
Therapeutic Benefits of Testosterone
Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) can be a game-changer for those grappling with low testosterone levels. Imagine reclaiming your energy, boosting your libido, improving sexual function, and feeling stronger than ever. TRT has been shown to enhance muscle mass and strength, improve bone density (warding off osteoporosis), and even lift your mood and cognitive function. It’s like hitting the reset button on your overall quality of life.
TRT can be administered in various ways, including injections, patches, and gels. Testosterone esters like testosterone cypionate and testosterone enanthate are popular choices due to their long-lasting effects and ease of use. Whether you’re looking to increase your energy or improve your overall well-being, TRT might just be the solution you’ve been searching for.
Making an Informed Decision
Before diving into testosterone replacement therapy, it’s essential to make an informed decision. Start by consulting with a healthcare professional to determine if TRT is the right fit for you. Discuss your medical history, including any previous hormone therapy or medical conditions. It’s crucial to understand the potential risks and side effects of TRT, such as an increased risk of prostate cancer and cardiovascular disease.
Consider the different types of testosterone medications and preparations available, including injections, patches, and gels. Each has its pros and cons, so it’s important to find the one that suits your lifestyle and needs. Regular monitoring and follow-up appointments are key to ensuring safe and effective treatment. Remember, TRT is a journey, and having a knowledgeable healthcare professional by your side can make all the difference.

Increased Libido
- Testosterone Derivatives: Many anabolic steroids are synthetic derivatives of testosterone, which can enhance libido in some users. Increased testosterone levels may lead to heightened sexual desire and performance.
- Psychological Effects: Some users report an increase in confidence and assertiveness, which can positively impact sexual desire.
Conclusion
On a final note, people think that testosterone is a ‘puffy’ compound and most aesthetic guys want to keep the test low. If the estrogen is controlled it can be used at any dose comfortable to that person. Additionally, what tends to happen is the testosterone dosage is a direct correlation between the bodybuilder and the size they have. Moreover the taller the bodybuilder the higher the dosage they would need to achieve the same look as someone smaller and to fill out their frame, for example, for a guy over 6 feet 1000mg of testosterone per week is like 750mg to a guy under 5ft10. These are also usually threshold dosages for the ‘bodybuilder’ look. The higher the test the more freaky, big, and bodybuilder-looking the person is. Lastly, I wouldn’t feel bad or guilty about using testosterone like the way society has demonized this. I’m using the tools I need to build the body I want. Testosterone and its derivatives are strong supplements that work, now they are powerful hormones and must be respected. These are male hormones, female hormones are easily available and prescribed free of charge whereas testosterone is not. I feel like if testosterone was more available the way estrogen and progesterone is it would help a lot of guys out, mentally and physically. Especially the mental part once guys start to feel the decline in their hormones. The age where depression hits most guys is around the mid-thirties to forties age, the same age where their hormones rapidly decrease… coincidence?
